Moomintrolls! (books)

The old cover of the
first book
The main character, Moomintroll
The Moomintroll series is a series that is often overlooked by people to read. In my opinion this is one of the best simple books to read there is. Even adults read it so it must be good right? XD The main characters in the series are Moomintroll, Moominpapa, Sniff, Snufkin, Momminmama, Myble and Little My. There are a lot of books in the series and there is no set order in which to read the books. You must remember, however that this series is a light read (no large violence). The Moomintroll series is written my Tove Janson and originated in Finland and the nearby areas (I'm not sure but I think Sweden and Norway were involved in some way) around the 1970's...(?) but the characters are just so adorable!
The series is about the daily lives of the Moomintroll family (which are not very ordinary I must say) and them having to overcome obstacles. It's a very well written series (my favourites are the moominpapa memoirs, winter in moominvalley and summer in moominvalley) and it is recomended as a short, light read. I would rate it  4.8 / 5 Stars!
